SERVICE PROJECTS

The Spokane Christian Church Service Committee & the Spokane Chapter of Hope Worldwide are proud to love God through acts of service

Ways to Get Involved:

Ronald McDonald House - Toy Collection
Sunday, December1 - Sunday, December 15
*Bring unwrapped new toys to Spokane Christian Church and they will be delivered to Spokane's Ronald McDonald house for kids to shop at Christmas time.

Blessing Bags for the Homeless
January
Pack a bag full of needed items to hand to someone you come across on the streets to encourage and provide.

Pantry Pound
February 2-9
An annual act of worship we participate in, is a fundraiser of sorts. As a church body, for one week, each household abstains from shopping for food. Then on the 8th day, we bring the money we would have spent and give it for our service projects.

Coat Drive
Sunday from March 16-April 13 (Palm Sunday)
Bring new or gently used coats/jacket/sweatshirts & place them on either side of the Sanctuary Stage. These items will be given to local clothing closets for those in need.
*This has become a Palm Sunday tradition in remembrance of the cloaks and palms that were laid in the path of Jesus as he entered Jerusalem at the beginning of the Passion week.
